Cool hotel in an excellent location close to the Connemara national park, very friendly personal. Great cooked and rich breakfast with lots of food options. Location so close to parks & castles & lovely countryside & ocean views, ferry to an offshore island, and Clifden and restaurants. And a few steps away from Letterdeen Standing Stone.

Staying here for a quick getaway was great! We particularly enjoyed how Sue provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions, as we were eager to explore places like Clifden Castle and the stunning Sky Road tour, both just a short drive away. The large, comfortable bed in our King Room made for a peaceful night's sleep, and the delicious breakfast options were a fantastic start to our day.

missingWrote a review on 20 Octlocation issuesroom discomfort
The location was a bit more removed than I anticipated, so much for a quick dinner. And douvets? Too warm without a sheet? I expected a room upgrade to compensate for all the inconveniences. I almost thought about giving a good review but just couldn't, really disappointing.

Fine views overlooking the bay make for a great setting, particularly beautiful when the sun rises. Plenty of unique art throughout the house adds character and warmth that enhances the experience.
A bit more removed from the main town than some might prefer. Access to restaurants in Clifden means a little planning to find dinner options.

The breakfast options for vegetarians and vegans were generous and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients. The peaceful location was a perfect base for exploring the nearby national park, and the comfortable room offered lovely views of the bay.
Occasional slow WiFi connectivity could be frustrating while planning the day's activities.
